announce that legendary Joe's Stone Crab of Miami is coming to Las
Vegas with the opening of Joe’s Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab
in the Forum Shops at Caesars on October 22, 2004.
Opened in 1913, Joe's Stone Crab of Miami has become a dining
institution with an international reputation serving its legendary fare of
Stone Crab and Key Lime Pie to thousands of guests including film
and television stars, politicians, athletes and celebrities. This next
generation of history - Joe's Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab -
which debuted in Chicago in 2000, is set to open in one of the most
exciting cities in America as well as in one of its most prestigious
locations - the Forum Shops at Caesars.

Joe's Stone Crab of Miami has been an enduring slice of history since
the early 1900's. Original founder Joe Weiss and his wife Jennie
discovered an unknown delicacy - Stone Crab Claws - off the Gulf of
Mexico. They served these claws chilled with a signature mustard
sauce. Platters of Stone Crab claws quickly became a grand tradition
at their South Miami Beach establishment. Through the combined
efforts of Melman and Centioli, Las Vegas will now get to experience
a true taste of Americana.
The décor at Joe's Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab, located at
street level within the magnificent expansion of The Forum Shops at
Caesars, will capture the look and feel of vintage Las Vegas. From the
sophisticated and elegant grand bar with rich mahogany appointments
to the main dining room complete with clubby, corner booths
decorated in leather and mohair along with a café located within the
three-story atrium overlooking the reflection pool and spiraling
escalators, Joe’s is a dramatic and sophisticated multi-level space
perfect for civilized dining.
An elevated second level will showcase a circular party room with
floor to ceiling windows allowing guests breathtaking views of
Caesars Palace and the Strip. A private boardroom, wired with state-of-the-art electronics, is the perfect setting for power meetings and fine
dining.
While Joe’s will proudly serve freshly cracked Florida Stone Crab
Claws with their signature Creamy Mustard Sauce, the extensive menu
will showcase the freshest seafood flown in daily from around the
world with a market card offering seasonal specialties including
Madagascar Shrimp, Nantucket Cape Scallops, Fresh Alaskan King
Crab and Copper River Salmon. Guests will also experience Joe’s
tableside service of Maine Lobsters, Dover Sole and Crab Clusters.
Additionally, Joe’s has built a reputation as a top prime steakhouse
known for their selection of bone-in signature steaks including the
original 16-ounce Bone-In Filet Mignon all served alongside Joe’s
famous signature side dishes including Hashed Brown Potatoes,
Grilled Tomatoes, Creamed Spinach and Cole Slaw. A meal at Joe’s
would not be complete without a slice of their world famous Key Lime
Pie or other homemade pies.
Generous pours of old-world libations such as Martinis and
Manhattans as well as sophisticated selections of fine wines are only
some of the classics served from Joe’s full-service bar. A temperature-controlled
wine cellar will house great vintages from exceptional
producers including highly allocated bottles from California, Oregon
and Washington State as well as a host of great estates from Europe
and the world over. To complement the end of a perfect evening, Joe’s
maintains an extensive offering of ports, brandies and other after
dinner liqueurs.
Joe’s Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab can accommodate groups
for private dining and special events ranging in size from 10 to 100
featuring impeccable service from the tuxedo-clad staff. Catering and
take-out are also available.
Joe’s Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab – located in the Forum
Shops at Caesars at 3500 Las Vegas Blvd. South - will be open daily
for lunch and dinner Sunday through Thursday from 11:30am to
11:00pm while remaining open for late-night dining until midnight on
