(November 19, 2003) - SEATTLE -- KremeWorks USA,
Krispy Kreme Doughnuts' area developer in Washington, Oregon, Alaska
and Hawaii, has won two awards from the company.
Competing with the chain's 320 stores, KremeWorks won for having
the highest average sales per store. The Issaquah outlet won for
having the highest on-premises sales. It was the first time KremeWorks
was eligible for the awards; stores had to be open one year to qualify.
KremeWorks President and CEO Gerard Centioli said the awards will
be displayed at KremeWorks' headquarters in Seattle's Sodo neighborhood.
The building is under construction and is scheduled to be done
next spring.
